Denik custom notebook winner!

As well as a fabric lover, I have always had a soft spot for stationery. So when I got the news that I was selected as one of the 50 artists for some custom notebooks printed by Denik, it was just the boost I needed. What an amazing opportunity and incredibly generous of Denik. As someone who has had notebooks and other stationery items manufactured before, the costs to get something like notebooks printed is huge! It’s been on my product wish list to print more notebooks, but with sales slow going this year, it’s been hard to be able to get anything manufactured.

The tough part was choosing the designs. I selected a handful of prints that are personal favourites and have also been selling well in my Fabric Drawer range. Still, I think I spent hours on the website uploading different designs I could print. Then there was picking lined, dotted or blank pages. I ended up going with a mix of lined and blank notebooks, but the majority of them are blank as they are my personal favourite for both writing and drawing. AND, not only are the covers printed with a soft velvet feel finish, I could print gold foiling details - so the notebook on the front and Fabric Drawer on the spine are in gold.

I brought these at my last market, The Big Design Market and sold a handful and have now placed the remainder of the notebooks in the shop until sold out!

A massive thank you again to Denik for supporting artists.
